Thermal Residues
Thermal Residues investigates the shifting conditions of temporality under late capitalism and the fragile forms of resistance that emerge within the everyday. Drawing on Jonathan Crary’s critique of the 24/7 time regime and Carlo Rovelli’s account of thermodynamic temporality, the work examines how contemporary technologies restructure subjective experience, and how the body remains a site in which alternative temporalities persist.
